DAVID
IMPICCIATORE

DIGITAL • MOTION • IMAGE EDITOR

David Impicciatore began his filmmaking journey as an avid comic fan growing up in New York, where his early love of visual storytelling sparked a lifelong passion for film. He went on to study Motion Picture & Television at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, laying the foundation for a career that would span more than two decades behind the camera and in the edit room.

Over the years, David’s dedication to cinematography evolved into a deep passion for editing — two disciplines that continue to inform one another in his work. Known for shaping performance-driven, character-centered stories, he has edited feature films and episodic television for networks and streaming platforms including BET+, ALLBLK, Lifetime, TV One, PassionFlix, and Bounce TV. His credits include The Family Business (Seasons 5 & 6), Deb is Boss, Single Black Female, and The Secret Life of Amy Bensen.

From narrative features to episodic series, documentaries, and branded content, David’s work has earned recognition across the film festival circuit and broadcast platforms alike. His time with The Criterion Collection further refined his precision and storytelling discipline, editing director-approved Blu-ray materials for films by Francis Ford Coppola, Terrence Malick, Guillermo del Toro, Richard Linklater, and the Coen Brothers.

Outside of the edit suite, David is passionate about mentoring aspiring filmmakers and participating in community-based creative projects. He enjoys stand-up comedy, exploring the outdoors, and hiking with his wife and their border terriers, Poet and Starlit.
