DAVID
IMPICCIATORE

DIGITAL • MOTION • IMAGE EDITOR

David Impicciatore’s filmmaking journey began in New York, where a lifelong love of visual storytelling was first sparked through comic books and cinema. That early passion led him to study Motion Picture & Television at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, laying the groundwork for a career spanning more than two decades in cinematography and post-production.

Over the years, David’s work behind the camera naturally evolved into a deep passion for editing, a discipline that continues to shape his cinematic approach to storytelling. Known for crafting performance-driven, character-focused narratives, he has edited feature films and episodic television for major networks and streaming platforms including BET+, ALLBLK, Lifetime, TV One, PassionFlix, and Bounce TV. His credits include The Family Business (Seasons 5 & 6), Deb is Boss, Single Black Female, and The Secret Life of Amy Bensen.

From narrative features and episodic series to documentaries and branded content, David’s work has received recognition across both the film festival circuit and broadcast platforms. His tenure with The Criterion Collection further sharpened his editorial precision and storytelling discipline, where he edited director-approved Blu-ray materials for acclaimed filmmakers including Francis Ford Coppola, Terrence Malick, Guillermo del Toro, Richard Linklater, and the Coen Brothers.

Beyond the edit suite, David is passionate about mentoring emerging filmmakers and contributing to community-driven creative projects. Outside of filmmaking, he enjoys stand-up comedy, exploring the outdoors, and hiking with his wife and their border terriers, Poet and Starlit.
